Synopsis

Sachiko Ogasawara, an elegant and high-achieving student at Lillian Girls' Academy, conceals inner turmoil beneath her celebrated image. Uncomfortable with men and repulsed by the prospect of dancing with a male classmate in the upcoming school production, she seeks to relinquish her role by offering an alternative: she will prove her commitment to the school by recruiting a petite sœur, a younger student to mentor as her protégée. To the surprise of her peers, Yumi Fukuzawa, a first-year whom Sachiko approaches, declines the offer. Sei Satou, a senior member of the Yamayuri Council, then sets a condition: if Sachiko can persuade Yumi to accept the petite sœur bond, she may withdraw from the play. Though Sachiko finds interpersonal connection difficult, she resolves to do everything possible to win Yumi’s trust and secure the arrangement.
