Synopsis
This series centers on Lupin III and is set across locations in Italy and the microstate of San Marino. Reflecting its European production path, the show premiered in Italy prior to its Japanese broadcast. Longtime followers of the franchise will observe a costume change for the protagonist: in this installment he appears wearing a blue coat, a departure from earlier incarnations where his jacket color varied—green in the first series and some OVAs, red in the second series and most films and specials, and pink in the third series.
