Synopsis

Lupin and Jigen prepare to take a large sum from a New York racetrack; their scheme is flawless and requires six days before execution. To mark the impending success, they visit a nearby town. Lupin parts ways with Jigen because another engagement comes to mind. There he intervenes to rescue a young woman, Michelle, who is being pursued by dubious men. Michelle asks Lupin to steal a gem from her own father to prevent him from committing harmful acts. Believing he can secure both the racetrack money and the gem in six days, Lupin agrees to protect her for that period. Meanwhile, Jigen reconnects with an old comrade, Ryatte, and they discuss a different job, obliging Jigen to spend six days with Ryatte before the racetrack plan. At the same time Fujiko and Goemon are plotting to take a diamond at a gem exhibition, whose host becomes a relevant figure in the unfolding events.
