Synopsis

At a politician's birthday gathering, Zenigata attends to examine a counterfeit calling card linked to Lupin; Lupin is also present. Masked gunmen suddenly storm the event, opening fire and plunging the celebration into chaos. Amid the shooting, Zenigata chases Lupin through the estate and traps him in the courtyard, when a hand appears from a window wielding a Walther P-38 and fires, striking Zenigata in the chest. Recognizing the pistol as his own, Lupin launches his own inquiry. The attackers originate from a concealed location known as the Island of Assassins, a place kept hidden through the collusion of high-ranking government figures worldwide who exploit the island's operatives for personal advantage. As Lupin, Goemon, Jigen, and Fujiko pursue the truth, they uncover layers of clandestine activity that fracture the island's inhabitants. The narrative also explores aspects of Lupin's earlier life prior to his partnership with Jigen, weaving past developments into the unfolding conspiracy.
