Synopsis

After Uranohoshi Girls' High School closes, Dia Kurosawa, Kanan Matsuura, and Mari Ohara graduate and relocate, leaving Aqours comprised only of first- and second-year members. While scouting a facility they might use at their upcoming school, the group discovers the campus appears deserted. The school board, concerned that incoming Uranohoshi students could strain existing clubs, assigned the graduated third-years to a satellite campus instead. Determined to show that their peers will contribute earnestly to club life, Aqours sets out to change that perception. Their plans are complicated when the three graduates fail to return from a graduation excursion and are reported missing. The film follows the remaining Aqours members as they search for their absent seniors and simultaneously attempt to persuade the new school to accept their commitment to extracurricular activities, maintaining a tone of urgency, camaraderie, and resolve without revealing details of the search's outcome.
