The Nijigasaki High School Idol Club's profile keeps rising, drawing the interest of newcomer Zhong Lanzhu. Upon meeting the members, Lanzhu finds their approach to being school idols clashes with her own ideals. Her visit sets the stage for a rivalry: Lanzhu issues a challenge to see who can attract a larger following at the next School Idol Festival. In response, the club embarks on a new phase of their pursuit of idol success.
