Synopsis

Rikka Takanashi is still immersed in chuunibyou delusions despite being a third-year high school student. Her relationship with Yuuta Togashi has remained steady for six months as both prepare for college entrance exams and hope to attend the same school. When Rikka’s older sister, Tooka, accepts steady work in Italy and decides to bring Rikka along, the couple confronts the threat of forced separation. Unwilling to be apart, Yuuta and Rikka consult their friends and devise a desperate plan: to run away together. The story follows their emotional journey across Japan as they attempt to stop Rikka’s relocation and preserve their future together, balancing adolescent fantasy, earnest attachment, and the pressures of impending adulthood.
