Synopsis

Centuries ago, a massive spider once devastated Tokyo until a famed exorcist used sacred power to confine the creature, restoring peace. In the present, Mizuki Henmi, a spirited teen, visits Shu Suzuri, a reserved proprietor of a traditional Japanese bookshop. Shu intends to sell an enigmatic, valuable volume, but Mizuki’s careless handling breaks its seal and liberates an unusual, endearing spider. The story follows Mizuki, Shu, and the seemingly innocent arachnid as their daily lives shift: Shu grows attached to the creature while Mizuki grows increasingly uneasy. Beneath the surface of ordinary moments, subtle threats begin to emerge, hinting that the past’s calamity may not be entirely dormant.
