Synopsis

A Japanese teenager, Yuri Shibuya, confronts bullies to protect a classmate and is shoved into a school toilet—only to be drawn through a vortex into a world reminiscent of medieval Europe. In this foreign land, authorities declare him heir to the Demon King because his dark hair and eyes match the demon royal line. Some demons question his legitimacy, but after demonstrating his magical ability in a decisive duel, Yuri gradually earns reluctant acceptance. Now ruler in an unfamiliar kingdom, he must learn the responsibilities of a Demon King while attempting to maintain harmony between the demon populace and humans within this unfamiliar realm.
