Synopsis
During an expedition among Angel Island's ruins, a physician uncovers an enigmatic newborn bird, later named Kyoro-chan. They develop a close companionship and set out to explore distant places together. After three years, an attempt to revisit Angel Island ends in a violent storm that wrecks their vessel. Kyoro-chan reaches the island safely, but the doctor is missing. Left alone, the bird holds onto hope and prays for the doctor's safety while adapting to a new existence on Angel Island.
