Synopsis

A quiet outlying settlement suffers under the attacks of Shamsiel Shahar, a succubus who preys on local men, drawing away their vitality and leaving them humiliated. The central authority, occupied with a rebellion, cannot spare seasoned forces and opts to dispatch an expendable candidate instead. Ryuuto Henge, the last graduate from the Royal Knight Academy and regarded as a failed soldier and source of shame, is chosen for the mission and braces for what he assumes will be his demise. Upon reaching the village, he encounters the succubus, who intends to test him. Unexpectedly, Shamsiel cannot siphon Ryuuto’s life force; his endurance continually restores, and the balance of power begins to shift in his favor.
