Synopsis

At the start of the 21st century, an international research center near the Kurobe Dam is tasked with examining a mysterious relic found during construction. Scientists from many countries convene at the institute while their children attend Mt. Tate International Senior High School and lead ordinary teenage lives. Yukina Shirahane, a quiet high schooler and the daughter of the institute's lead researcher, visits the facility and unintentionally deciphers part of the relic's enigma. Her action brings forth Kennosuke Tokisada Ouma, a young samurai transported from the Sengoku period. When hostile forces arrive from outer space, Yukina and Kennosuke are drawn into the struggle to protect Earth. As they confront the extraterrestrial threat together, Yukina gradually uncovers the truth about Kennosuke and the reasons behind his resolve to guard her.
