Synopsis

Hiroshi Shiba, a skilled race car driver, loses his father after the murder tied to the discovery of an ancient Bronze Bell. That relic draws the attention of Queen Himika, a ruler from the long-lost Yamatai Kingdom, who intends to claim the Bell and use it to pursue control over Earth. From his father Hiroshi receives a small set of items that enable him to transform into the full-sized combat mecha known as Steel Jeeg. Supported by his father's consciousness preserved in a computer and by Miwa "Micchi" Uzuki, Hiroshi uses his transformed capabilities to confront Himika and work to stop her plans for world domination.
