Synopsis

Two decades ahead, Tokyo has evolved into a major high-technology metropolis known as Tokyo City. Ken Kanzaki, a skilled young marksman serving in the Metropolitan Police criminal investigation division, is assigned to provide security at a banquet hosted by the powerful Zaizen Konzern. During the event, autonomous specter robots attack, killing Zaizen and gravely wounding Ken and Zaizen’s son Jun; two other guests, racer Ryo Aguri and wrestler Go Goda, are also critically injured. Police scientists operate on the three severely wounded men, transforming them into cyborgs. Days later, a robot force backed by an enigmatic group called Ido appears near the floating town in Tokyo Bay, and conventional police and military responses prove ineffective. The three recovered men don powered mechanical suits and adopt the identity Armored Police Metal Jacks. Switching between Jack Suits and full Jack Armors, they confront and destroy the robot corps, marking the start of ongoing clashes between advanced criminal forces and Metal Jacks against the futuristic backdrop of Tokyo City.
