Synopsis
In 1980s Onomichi, Yurie Hitotsubashi is an ordinary middle school girl concerned with tests and her crush, Kenji. One day she tells her friend Mitsue that she became a goddess overnight. Classmate Matsuri seizes the opportunity to boost her struggling family shrine by promoting Yurie as a divine replacement for their ineffective local deity, Yashima-sama. With Matsuri acting as her promoter, Yurie must handle requests for wishes, resolve curses, encounter extraterrestrial beings, and participate in gatherings of deities, all while keeping up with school life and summoning the nerve to confess her feelings to Kenji.
