Synopsis

Aoi Tsubaki, abandoned by her mother, has long perceived ayakashi—spirits from a Hidden Realm. Raised by her grandfather Shirou, who shared this sight, she learned to coexist peacefully with these beings. After Shirou's sudden death, Aoi continues her life as a college student, relying on her culinary skills to keep human-eating ayakashi from preying on unaware people by offering them food. One day, after feeding a mysterious spirit, she is drawn into the Hidden Realm and encounters Oodanna, an ogre-god who runs an inn. There she discovers that her grandfather used her as collateral for a debt of one hundred million yen, and that she is expected to become Oodanna's spouse to settle it. Aoi refuses the arrangement and resolves to repay the debt through her own efforts by opening a restaurant within Oodanna's inn. The story follows Aoi as she navigates life between worlds and influences the ayakashi she meets through her cooking, using food as her means of protection, connection, and change.
