In 2006 at Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High, two close friends and top-tier Special Grade sorcerers, Satoru Gojou and Suguru Getou, carry a strong sense of invulnerability as they are assigned to escort a sensible girl, Riko Amanai, to a pivotal entity central to the jujutsu world. The assignment forces them into deep ethical turmoil that strains the already fragile relationship between sorcerers and ordinary people. Twelve years after that mission, students and veteran sorcerers stand as the primary defense against a surge of increasingly powerful curses originating from human negativity. Those curses develop greater awareness and collective ambition, uniting under a formidable, ancient cursed spirit whose objective is to eliminate humans and establish a world dominated by cursed energy users. To remove their greatest impediment, the strongest sorcerer Gojou, the curses execute an assault at Shibuya Station on Halloween. Sorcerers divide into teams and confront the threat, prepared to risk everything to shield civilians and protect their own.
