Synopsis

Beneath a luminous night sky, a charismatic phantom thief known as Joker stages bold heists, moving from one prized target to another. Frequently pursued by a dogged investigator, Dokusaburou Oniyama, Joker relies on a dazzling array of tricks that blur the boundary between clever technology and apparent sorcery to slip away. During a scheme to seize the “Dragon Gem” from an arrogant millionaire’s estate, Joker encounters Hachi, an awkward yet sincere ninja who admires him and happens to be after the same loot. Initially on opposite sides, the two combine their efforts to complete the theft; Joker, noticing Hachi’s resourcefulness, bravery, and knack for household tasks, grudgingly takes him on as an apprentice. As they pursue further prizes, the pair face rival phantom thieves, navigating clashes with former allies and new adversaries while Joker strives to maintain his reputation as the foremost showman of the night.
