Synopsis

Shen Jianxin, a modest guard from Rye Scent Village, aspires to rise beyond his ordinary station and achieve renown. During a visit to the eminent Pure Yang Palace, he accidentally acquires the palace’s secret instructional texts and unknowingly inherits powerful skills. Unaware at first of the extent of this gift, he steps into the wider world of Jianghu and, through confronting its conflicts and upheavals in the prosperous Tang period, gradually develops his abilities and character. Once an obscure protector, he becomes a martial presence of unmatched capability within Jianghu, his future shaped by the challenges and disturbances that lie ahead.
