Set within the expansive Yeke Mongol Ulus during the thirteenth century, this story centers on Fatima, a brilliant scholar from Persia. Hailing from a land where medical and scientific advancements have reached unprecedented levels, Fatima arrives at the Mongol palace, driven by a desire to utilize her extensive knowledge. There, she comes under the guidance of Töregene, the sixth wife of Ögedei, the second Great Khan. Töregene is portrayed as a powerful woman with nuanced views regarding the empire's future.
