Synopsis

AD 2225: Trainees Kouji Aiba and Aoi Housen are aboard Liebe Delta, a training outpost perched at the Geduld Sea's rim. During a routine submersion exercise, agents of sabotage strike, sending the station tumbling into the Geduld — a lethal plasma expanse that connects the planets and destroys any vessel that ventures too deep. With all adult personnel slain, the surviving adolescents must manage the wrecked station, keep themselves alive, and cope with rising conflict among the crew as they attempt to return home. Outside, those responsible for the initial assault remain active, observing and preparing for a subsequent offensive.
