Synopsis

Eighteen-year-old Dale Reki is a capable and compassionate traveler, recognized among Kreuz’s foremost adventurers. While tracking magical creatures, he discovers a vulnerable devil girl named Latina: alone, wearing tattered clothes, and marked by a broken horn that identifies her as an outcast. Moved by concern, Dale brings her into his home and becomes her guardian. Latina’s gentle, trusting nature gradually draws Dale into the routines and responsibilities of caregiving, and he experiences both the quiet rewards and the emotional strain of balancing adventuring duties with parenthood. As Dale settles into this new role, unanswered questions persist about Latina’s circumstances—why she was left in the forest and why she bears the stigma of the broken horn—while Latina slowly learns about the wider world and her own identity as she adapts to life with him.
