Synopsis

During a mountain-bike race, Shou Yamato and his friends Kakeru and Makoto are inexplicably transported to a parallel realm called the X-Zone. There, competitive MTB contests known as Idaten battles dominate: specialized tracks, distinct regulations, and latent abilities tied to the bicycles define each match. The trio learns that reclaiming their way back requires defeating opponents and collecting the MTB emblems taken from the vanquished. Though unsettled and fearful of the strange environment, Shou reacts with unexpected enthusiasm, viewing this as a chance to race skilled riders, form new alliances and rivalries, and gradually uncover concealed aspects of the X-Zone that could alter his destiny. Faced with a difficult path marked by dangers and plots directed at them, Shou and his companions must endure a grueling sequence of challenges to secure a safe return home together.
