Synopsis

Sora Kashiwagi, a high school student, has grown used to receiving odd parcels sent by his father during an extended global expedition. Past gifts have proven troublesome, so when a large shipment arrives from Egypt he expects another disaster. Inside is Mii-kun, a small, endearing mummy. Though Sora is cautious at first, he discovers Mii-kun is gentle and craves companionship. The two develop a close relationship as they share everyday moments and encounter others who keep peculiar animal companions. Faced with the responsibilities and difficulties of pet care, Sora commits to looking after the fragile, lovable Mii-kun.
