Synopsis

While Nube and his classmates visit a small island for beach activities, they encounter an unsettling local story from an elderly resident about a sea-dwelling creature called the sea spider. According to the tale, once this creature reaches two centuries of age it transforms into a predatory monster that feeds on humans. Driven by curiosity, Yukime seeks to verify the legend’s truth. A girl then appears on the shore whose unusual aura immediately draws Hiroshi and overpowers him. Soon afterward, other students and teachers experience inexplicable attacks, including incidents affecting Kyoko and Ritsuko-sensei. As events escalate, questions arise about the girl’s real nature, and the possibility that the island’s ominous legend may be accurate becomes increasingly troubling.
