Synopsis

A herbivorous dinosaur unexpectedly finds an abandoned egg and brings it home. The hatchling turns out to be a carnivore, yet the caring mother cannot forsake it and names him Heart, raising him alongside her own offspring while the family lives in exile. As Heart grows, his carnivorous instincts clash with the herbivore diet of his adoptive family; ashamed and unable to conform, he flees. Years later, now a feared predator, Heart discovers another egg and witnesses a scene that echoes his past. When the newborn herbivore emerges and assumes Heart is its parent, Heart initially regards it as a tempting meal, but the hatchling’s immediate affection prevents him from killing it. Reluctantly, Heart takes on the role of guardian and raises the young herbivore he calls Umasou. The story follows Heart as he attempts to protect and nurture a forbidden child while confronting societal rejection and the inherent tensions between predator and prey.
