Synopsis

In a realm populated by people only inches tall, Hakumei and Mikochi share a dwelling carved into a tree. Hakumei, a spirited, tomboyish craftswoman, and Mikochi, a composed and feminine seamstress, lead a harmonious life together despite their differing temperaments. Their days are filled with practical tasks, casual explorations, and trips to the seaside Tsumiki Marketplace. Along the way they befriend both anthropomorphic forest animals, such as Iwashi the weasel, and other small residents, including a singer named Konju and an inventive neighbor called Sen. The series gently follows their everyday experiences as they wander, work, and connect within a miniature world that evokes the mood of a storybook.
