Two years after the EL-Divers episode, Gunpla Battle Nexus Online has grown even more popular, expanded with missions and narrative events that deepen the gameplay. Among the player base, Hiroto Kuga has become noted for exceptional ability. By chance he crosses paths with three other users — the arrogant Kazami Torimachi, a secretive player called May, and the shy Parviz — and they come together as the BUILD DiVERS. They embark on a story-driven mission reputed to offer substantial in-game rewards. As the team advances, each member must confront personal shortcomings while cooperating on a campaign whose implications may reach beyond the virtual world of GBN.
