Synopsis
Xiao Se and Lei Wujie arrive in Xueyue City following Wuxin’s departure. Third Lord Sikong Changfeng recognizes Xiao Se and insists on accepting him as a disciple. Meanwhile, Lei Wujie confronts the Dengtian Chamber to request an audience with Second Lord Li Hanyi, the Xueyue Sword Deity, seeking Li’s accompaniment to the Lei Faction so Li can meet Lei Hong. They agree on a test: if Lei Wujie endures three sword techniques from Li Hanyi, she will honor the promise and leave her mountain. Over subsequent months, Lei Wujie intensively hones his swordsmanship and ultimately withstands Li Hanyi’s three moves, prompting Li to fulfill her vow and depart. As Xiao Se enters the city, princes of Tianqi grow uneasy and begin securing alliances, and a plot targeting Xueyue City begins to form.
