Synopsis

Okuto Nakamura is a shy, solemn student whose world revolves around his pet octopus and the warm-hearted classmate Aiki Hirose. Since the entrance ceremony he has quietly admired Aiki but has been held back by his lack of social confidence. When he finally attempts to speak with her, an instinctive misstep turns his effort into an embarrassing moment that threatens any hope of closeness. School routines, however, require students to work together frequently, presenting repeated opportunities for Okuto to interact with Aiki. Faced with these chances, he tries to recover from that first awkward impression and hopes to gradually form a sincere friendship with her without compromising his reserved nature.
