A new college term starts and the established members of Genshiken set out to find fresh participants. Three students are drawn to the club because of Ogiue’s boys’ love illustrations and decide to join. Ogiue receives them but grows uneasy, worrying that the group is shifting into a space dominated by fujoshi and yaoi enthusiasm, drifting from the club’s original aims while trying to adapt to the newcomers.
