Synopsis

In 2111, humanity has spread across the solar system, leaving moons and planets largely beyond effective law enforcement. To combat crime and threats that local authorities cannot manage, Isaac Godonov forms J9: a paid task force including himself, Blaster Kid, Stephen Bowie, and Angel Omachi, who operate the combat robot Braiger and accept missions ordinary police avoid. At the same time, a faction in Earth's Nubia region pursues a scheme to fracture Jupiter to produce thirty new worlds for human settlement, a move that would lead to Earth's annihilation. The series follows the group's morally complex, high-stakes interventions amid this tense, high-tech frontier where survival and expansion collide.
