Synopsis

After the Fractale network becomes foundational to society, people rely on body-embedded terminals and live apart, absorbed in private pursuits. Clain Necran, a solitary collector of pre-Fractale technology, spends his life accompanied only by his parents' Doppels—sophisticated holographic replicas. His routine is interrupted when he encounters Phryne, the first actual girl he has met, whose presence captivates him. Phryne is sought by an anti-Fractale faction called The Lost Millennium and leaves an unusual device with Clain before vanishing. Determined to find her and return what she dropped, Clain embarks on a quest that leads him into the core of the Fractale infrastructure, where uncovering the system’s realities exposes him to far greater hazards than he expected.
