Synopsis

Ginko, an enchanting fox spirit living as a courtesan in Yoshibara's red light quarter, earns her living by entertaining clients. When a traveling hawker arrives, she recognizes him as the boy who once rescued her and the first human she ever saw—the man who captured her heart. Aware that their bond is perilous because she is an ayakashi, Ginko fled long ago to protect him and took up life in the pleasure district. Unwilling to let go, the man, Yuujiro, became a traveling merchant in hopes of finding her again. Upon their reunion, Ginko permits a single night of intimacy with the man she loves, embracing a brief, forbidden connection.
