The monarch of the Flower Planet is near death, and the heir cannot assume rulership until the storied Seven Color Flower—emblem of the sovereign’s authority—is located. Two Angels, Cateau and Noveau, descend to Earth to locate the Flower Girl: a young woman whose lineage links humans and the Flower Angels who once lived on Earth. They find Lunlun in France and persuade her to undertake a lengthy quest to recover the Flower. Along the way she encounters the compassionate and the treacherous aspects of both humanity and the Flower Angels, embodied by the ambitious Togenishia and her companion Boris, and she develops a romantic bond with Serge Flora, a man who harbors a significant secret.
