Synopsis

Gunma Akagi, a rural teenager known for creating disturbances with his heavily modified tractor, lives under the pressure of his father Souichirou, an aspiring politician who pushes the family to behave respectably for his ambitions. One night on the highway, while riding with his close friend Tamotsu Oishi, Gunma is passed at high speed by an unknown car. Viewing the pass as a provocation, he attempts to match the vehicle but ends up failing dramatically. That loss ignites an intense resolve in him: he decides to abandon his quiet hometown and relocate to the urban center with the goal of becoming a Formula One racer. The story follows Gunma’s transition from countryside troublemaker to someone pursuing elite motorsport, driven by determination and the need to overcome his earlier defeat.
