Synopsis

Aoi Yukimura once loved scaling peaks as a child, but a childhood accident instilled a lasting fear of heights that pushed her toward indoor pastimes. Now a reserved and timid first-year high school student, she keeps to herself and struggles to form friendships. Her life begins to shift when Hinata Kuraue, a spirited companion from her climbing past, reappears. Energetic and impulsive, Hinata urges Aoi to join various climbing outings. Though hesitant at first, Aoi gradually reconnects with memories of their shared youth and chooses to try climbing again. As she revisits the activity that once defined her, Aoi slowly opens up, forges close bonds, faces new physical and emotional challenges, and steadily rediscovers the motivation to keep climbing.
