Synopsis
After a standard raid, novice sky pirate Coud uncovers an unexpected passenger among his crew's goods: Ren, an Edel Reid, a being sought for the combat enhancement she gives to partners through a process called Reacting. He soon realizes others value her more than anticipated when three agents from the Edel Reid protection agency Arc Aire arrive seeking to obtain her. Coud refuses their offer, and a sudden, unexplained assault strikes the ship. With danger imminent, Coud's captain entrusts him with the responsibility of keeping Ren safe.
