Synopsis

Meiko Mochizuki faces crisis when her Digimon companion, Meicoomon, is driven into an evolved, corrupted form known as Meicrackmon and departs to cause destruction. Its transformation coincides with escalating hostility from the Digital World, which appears to reject Meiko and the other Chosen Children. Pursued by various adversaries, the group struggles to navigate dangers and find a path back to their own world. Meanwhile, in the human realm, an envoy from the mysterious entity Homeostasis meets with Meiko’s father and Daigo Nishijima of the Incorporated Administrative Agency to reveal Homeostasis’s intention to eradicate the digital creature. That plan aims to stop further Digimon from manifesting in the human world, regardless of how the Chosen Children feel about the decision.
