Synopsis

Kaname Sudou, a high school student, accepts a classmate’s invitation to try an unfamiliar mobile title called Darwin’s Game. Upon launching the app, a green snake emerges from his phone and bites his neck, rendering him unconscious; later, he wakes in the infirmary with no visible injury and is advised to rest. Initially dismissing the incident as a hallucination, Kaname later opens the application again out of curiosity and begins a match that appears typical at first. The situation abruptly turns threatening when his opponent materializes in the physical world and attacks him with a knife. Fleeing for his life, Kaname comes to understand that Darwin’s Game transcends conventional entertainment and forces participants into a ruthless struggle to survive.
