Synopsis

The final entry in Tadao Nagahama's Romance Super Robot Trilogy follows survivors from the destroyed planet Barm who travel to Earth seeking land to settle. Negotiations collapse when Leon, the Barmian delegation leader, is murdered by his deputy Olban, and Earth's envoys are falsely accused; Doctor Isamu Ryuuzaki is killed in the turmoil. In the aftermath, Leon's son Admiral Richter leads a campaign of violent assaults on Earth using an array of Mecha Soldiers. Earth's principal defense is the karate-capable transforming super robot Daimos, piloted by Kazuya Ryuuzaki. Kazuya's encounter and subsequent romantic bond with Erika, a woman revealed to be Richter's sister, complicates the conflict. As they strive to be together, both discover that members of the opposing side cannot be judged as wholly villainous, nor can their own side be considered entirely righteous, forcing them to confront divided loyalties amid ongoing warfare.
