Synopsis

Lelouch Lamperouge's plan to dismantle the Holy Britannian Empire is unraveling. His sister Nunnally has been taken by Schneizel el Britannia, and Suzaku Kururugi refuses to respond to his urgent appeals. The Black Knights' confidence in him as leader is fading while the United Federation of Nations declares war on Britannia. After enduring repeated betrayals, losing much of his influence, and growing anger toward Emperor Charles zi Britannia, the injured Lelouch concludes that if he cannot overthrow the Empire externally, he must seize power from the inside and act to change the state of affairs.
