Synopsis

Sakura Kinomoto, a ten-year-old fourth grader in the town of Tomoeda, finds a set of enchanted cards called the Clow. When the cards are accidentally dispersed across the town by a sudden gust, they awaken Keroberos, the guardian Beast of the Seal. Keroberos explains that the cards were crafted by the sorcerer Clow Reed and were confined because each card has its own will and great power. With the cards now loose, they threaten the world unless they are retrieved. Keroberos designates Sakura as the Cardcaptor and gives her the Sealed Key to perform the task. Together with her close friend Tomoyo Daidouji and guided by Keroberos, Sakura must learn to capture the roaming cards while managing the routines and relationships of her everyday life, embarking on a sequence of magical missions.
