Synopsis

Ryouma Takebayashi grows up isolated in a deep forest, far from other humans, spending his days raising various slimes and developing a robust body and talent for magic. His current life is the result of divine intervention: after suffering much in a past existence, three gods granted him a new chance to appreciate the pleasures of living. Three years of peaceful seclusion pass before his path crosses with others. After assisting soldiers who are caring for an injured companion, he is persuaded to travel with them to meet the ducal family in a nearby town. Accepting their invitation, Ryouma sets out from his forest home and begins a journey to see the broader world beyond his solitary life.
