Synopsis

Fumiya Tomozaki dominates the online competitive scene of Attack Families, known as "Tackfam," yet his real-world interactions lag far behind his virtual skill. His lack of social finesse and warmth leaves him isolated at school, convinced that life’s complex social rules make him inherently weak. An unexpected encounter with another elite Tackfam player reveals that his opponent is Aoi Hinami, a well-liked, intelligent, and outgoing classmate. Recognizing Fumiya’s proficiency only within the game, Aoi chooses to help him learn how to handle interpersonal challenges she views as the most important contest. Guided by her, Fumiya faces difficult and often uncomfortable social trials, gradually improving his ability to form connections and climb the metaphorical ranks in everyday life.
