Synopsis

Yuuji Kaidou, facing a terminal disease, opts for cryogenic suspension in hopes of awakening when a remedy exists. He emerges from stasis into a devastated world overrun by carnivorous beings and is rescued at the last moment by a squad of soldiers piloting massive combat suits. Their leader, Marlene Angel, explains that an extraterrestrial force called BLUE invaded decades earlier, driving humanity nearly to extinction. Struggling to accept this grim reality, Yuuji commits to the resistance. To have any impact in the struggle to preserve what remains of mankind, he must develop more than mere resolve.
