Synopsis

Saya Otonashi appears to be an ordinary teenager living with her adoptive family in Okinawa City, though she endures chronic anemia and cannot recall anything older than the last year. Her suppressed history resurfaces when a nocturnal assault at school exposes her to a blood-feeding monster. A stranger called Haji intervenes and, after making Saya ingest his blood, triggers a trance in which she effortlessly destroys the attacker by using her own blood. This event draws Saya into contact with Red Shield, a group formed specifically to combat these demonic predators. Together with Haji and the organization's members, Saya must battle the creatures and pursue the truth behind her erased memories.
