Synopsis

Rokurou "Rock" Okajima, once a salaried office worker, becomes part of the Lagoon Company, a band of mercenary operatives based in the lawless district of Roanapur, Thailand. Initially resistant to his new circumstances, he finds himself living among a squalid community of hardened criminals and moral decay. Stranded and stripped of his previous life except for his clothing and personal conscience, Rock must take part in the group's dangerous assignments. As he is reproached for his perceived meekness while navigating violence and ethical compromise, Rock confronts a pivotal choice: adapt to the gang's ruthless world or abandon it in pursuit of liberation. His eventual path—whether remaining in the relative familiarity of a conventional existence or embracing life as an outlaw—will profoundly affect the companions who provided him shelter.
