Synopsis

Dan Bashin, a fiery adolescent famed for his aggressive Battle Spirits tactics and nicknamed the Clash King, is whisked away by a strange green-haired girl to the otherworldly realm of Grand Rolo, where conflicts are resolved through card duels. He arrives amid a clash between the imperial forces and the land’s subjugated peoples and discovers he has been identified as a prophetic fighter, a "bearer of cores' light," destined to challenge the corrupt ruler. Joined by a boy named Zungurii and the unconventional witch Magisa, Dan journeys across Grand Rolo, confronting other destined combatants in card battles. As his reputation as the Clash King spreads, long-buried truths about the kingdom’s colonial history begin to emerge, hinting that his struggle may have consequences far beyond his original expectations.
