Synopsis

Humanity remains confined within the last two walls while Titans continue to threaten their freedom. Military operations press on to eliminate the Titans, yet danger emerges both from the monsters outside and from human factions inside the walls. After being saved from the Colossal and Armored Titans, Eren Yaeger focuses on mastering his Titan abilities. Krista Lenz copes with grief over a lost comrade, Captain Levi assembles Eren and his peers into a new squad under his command, and Commander Erwin Smith recuperates from his wounds. Just as the soldiers attempt to regroup, the government moves to take custody of Eren and Krista, drawn by the Survey Corps’ recent victories. An operative tied to Levi’s past arrives to seize the targeted soldiers, forcing Levi’s unit to evade government forces to safeguard Eren and Krista. The conflict pits not only humans against Titans but also pits soldiers against political maneuvering and betrayal from within their own society.
